According to Sgt. Marvin Smith of the Ripley County

arrested after someone saw two of them run from

Milan Station
Antiques gets new owner
|
Cindy DiFazio
- Staff Writer
One day in August
of this year, Roselyn McKittrick, longtime proprietor
of Milan Station Antiques & Collectibles and
curator of the Milan 54 Museum, was minding
the store as usual. She could not have known that
someone was about to walk through her door and
change her life. Likewise, Susan and Bryan Woffindale,
recent transplants from the UK, the United Kingdom
not the University of Kentucky, were unaware that
they would be the ones to bring about that change.

Local popcorn
farmrs grow a field of dreams
|
Cindy DiFazio
- Staff Writer
The 85-acre Riehle
farm just outside of Sunman has been in that family
since 1910, and while many traditional crops have
ripened in its fertile fields over the decades,
in the past eight years some of those acres seem
to be having more fun. The reason is that Eric
and Lisa Riehle are growing popcorn! Popcorn mogul
and fellow Hoosier, Orville Redenbacher, would
have applauded their entrepreneurial spirit.
