With breast cancer awareness as their focus, members of the Milan New Harmony Club will host a special information program on Tuesday, April 13, at the Reservation Restaurant.

Guest speaker for the program, which will begin at 7:00 p.m. EST (slow time), will be Kim Crawley from Margaret Mary Community Hospital in Batesville. She will discuss prevention and early detection as well as the choices available should breast cancer be detected.

Milan's New Harmony Club is also sponsoring a drawing for a Longaberger Horizon of Hope Basket, an Avon Cosmetic Bag and Candle, a Vera Bradley Eyeglass and Cosmetic Bag. Tickets are available for a one-dollar donation and may be purchased from members of the club or by contacting Val Hough at (812)744-3666.

All proceeds from the GFCW New Harmony Raffle will go to the American Cancer Society for research, service, and prevention.

Club members feel this service project is important for all area
women since breast cancer continues to be widespread. "All of us need the most recent information so that we can become our own advocates," said a spokesperson for the group. "We hope the women in this community will plan to attend."
