Butlerville man killed in tractor accident

According to Wayne Zander, Jennings County Deputy Coroner, Howard Stainbrook, 87, of Butlerville, died as a result of a tractor accident that occurred on Saturday, May 8, near his home.

Zander responded to a call about 2:30 p.m. that a farm tractor had overturned on 8435 N. CR 850 E, (near Butlerville). Stainbrook was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was involved in the accident.

Funeral services for Stainbrook will be held Thursday, May 13, at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home, Westport, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held Wednesday night, May 12, at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m.
