Arrests begin in Madison, end in Ripley County
Four arrested, numerous felony charges filed

Madison man was arrested in Ripley County last
Wednesday, May 5, on a warrant issued by Jefferson Circuit
Court. Timothy Gray, 42, was located at a trailer in Ripley
County on 1050 South, and charged with Dealing in Cocaine,
a Class B felony.
Gray was taken into custody without incident, and reports
say a large quantity of cocaine was found in a vehicle registered
to him as well as illegal drugs inside the trailer where he
was found.
Police began making arrests on Tuesday, May 4, at approximately
10:00 p.m. Shannon Scholl, 28, of Madison, was charged with
Dealing in Cocaine, a Class A felony, Aiding in Dealing Cocaine,
Class A felony, Conspiracy to Deal Cocaine, Class A felony,
and Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Class D felony. She was
also charged with Neglect of a Dependent due to the fact her
juve
nile son was present when a drug deal had been made.
Also arrested were Danny "Doc" Robinson, 42, of
Madison, who was charged with Dealing in Cocaine, Class A felony
and Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Class D felony. Charlotte
Kay Conrad, 47, of Madison, was arrested and charged with Conspiracy
to Deal Cocaine, Class A felony, Aiding in Dealing in Cocaine,
Class A felony, and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.
The initial press release from the Madison Police Department indicated while
the complete list of items confiscated from the arrests was not available,
there was over 100 grams of cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia seized.
The Madison Courier reported that one person who was charged
in the drug related arrests was spending $2,000 per day for
personal cocaine use and was selling to a large group of people
ranging from 75 to
200.
A total of 21 felony charges were filed against
the four people arrested, with trial dates of August 31, set
for each of them.
The arrests were made through a cooperative effort between
the Madison Police Department, Indiana State Police, Jefferson
County Sheriff's Department and Ripley County Sheriff's Department.
