Ryan Brancamp gives Valedictory speech

For the past four years Ryan Brancamp has been the number one student in his class, which was why he was named the Valedictorian for the Class of 2004 at Jac-Cen-Del High School. Noticed for his outstanding work in the classroom, Brancamp was recognized and had the opportunity to give his Valedictory address in front of 67 students at the forty-fourth annual graduation ceremony in Jac-Cen-Del's gym on Saturday, May 29.

With an 11.29 GPA and a 1450 SAT score, Brancamp has spent plenty of time in the books, but that's not all he has done in his four years at JCD. While in school, he participated in several groups and activities as well as running on the track team for one year. He was a part of the National Honor Society for three years, a member of the Spanish Club for three years and was the president of the German Club for three years.

Lewis Award, the Senior English Award, Senior Life Sciences Award, Senior Government Award, the National Honor Society Scholarship, the Georgia Lee Mulford Scholarship, the Kappa Kappa Kappa Highest Grade Average (Boy) Delta Rho Chapter Award, the AHSME

In the fall Brancamp plans on attending Indiana University where he will study Microbiology, specializing in Genetic Research. He is the son of Tim and Julie Brancamp.
