Milan Athletes of the Month

Milan recently honored their athletes of the month for the months of April and May. The female athlete of the month for April was Sarah Kraushar. Kraushar just completed her junior year for the track team and is ranked first in her class with a 4.0 GPA. Adam Hooker was the male athlete of the month for April. Hooker completed his junior year of golf and is ranked fourth in his class with a 3.93 GPA. The female athlete of the month for May was Beth McIntosh. McIntosh is a member of the volleyball and softball teams and is ranked fifth in the senior class with a 3.8 GPA. Josh Schwanholt was the male athlete of the month for May. Schwanholt finished his freshman year in track and is ranked eighth in his class with a 3.68 GPA. The winners of the ninth annual Tri Kappa Golf Tournament shot a 55 (15 under par) and were made up of (left to right) Brian Armbrecht, Gil Landwehr, Sam Melton and Brad Samples. The first place team was awarded $500.
