Escapee captured in Cincinnati

According to Ripley County Sheriff Bill Davison, Christopher Lee Taylor, 25, has been arrested by Cincinnati Police.

Taylor walked away from the Work Release Program at the Ripley County Jail on March 19, and was at large until he was captured Tuesday, April 12, about 1:12 p.m.

He is incarcerated at the Hamilton County Justice Center in Cincinnati, where he will face local charges. Then Taylor will be extradited to Ripley County to face the charge of escape.

Taylor was servicing an initial sentence of 90 days for probation violation for criminal trespass.
