OH woman killed in ORV accident

According to information from Indiana Conservation Officer Bill Beville, an Ohio woman was killed Sunday, in the Moores Hill area.

Officer Beville noted that 23-year-old Angela M. Scinto of Columbus, OH, was riding an off-road vehicle (ORV) with a friend at a location in Moores Hill around noon Sunday, April 17, when the accident occurred.

According to Indiana Conservation Officer Andy Cline, who investigated the incident, Scinto reportedly had little experience operating a ORV. She drove over a steep hill at a high rate of speed and hit a tree. She was thrown from the vehicle and struck her head on the ground, according to a press release.

Units responding to the scene included two Dearborn County Sheriff's Deputies, Aurora Ambulance Service and the Hogan Township Fire Department.
