Funeral services held for JCD teacher, Judy Hall

Judy A. Hall, 50, of Milan, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2005 at her residence. She was born at Indianapolis on July 19, 1954, the daughter of Don and Julia Patricia Grimes Gastino. She was married to Gary Hall on June 19, 1976 and he survives.

Other survivors include her daughters, Jennifer Hall of Indianapolis, Elizabeth "Liz" Hall of Milan; her parents, Don and Pat Gastino of Indianapolis; her father and mother-in-law Clay and Audrey Hall of Milan; one brother, Donnie Gastino of Mooresville; four sisters, Paula McCullough and husband Bill of Mooresville, Donna Markowitz and husband Wes of Winston-Salem, NC, Kim Miller of Indianapolis and Patty Overton and Jason of Mooresville, along with several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Hall was a 1972 graduate of Ben Davis High School and a 1976 graduate of the University of Indianapolis where she received her Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. She received her Masters Degree in 1980 from Ball State University. She had been an elementary teacher at Jac-Cen-Del since 1976. She was a member of the Tyson United Methodist Church in Versailles and a member of the Delta Rho Chapter of Tri Kappa. Mrs. Hall had been a member of the Central House Players and the Ripley County Harmonettes.

Funeral services were held Monday, June 20 at 11 a.m. at the Tyson United Methodist Church in Versailles with Rev. Michael Hendrix officiating. Burial was in the Cliff Hill Cemetery, Versailles.

Memorials may be given to the Judy Hall Scholarship Fund in care of the Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home, Versailles.
