Milan American Legion conducts services

At Craven Cemetery in Milan over 50 people gathered to remember veterans on Memorial Day. The American Legion Post #235 of Milan paid their respects with a military ceremony of a 21-gun salute and playing of taps. The Color Guard bears the Stars and Stripes and the flag of the American Legion. Rev. Tom Holt spoke before the ceremony, saying "Good will prevail so long as good men are willing to pay the price." The Legionnaires who participated were Commander Elect Charlie Cottingham, Grover Reese, Herman Douglas, David Davidson, Leonard Kash, Larry Davidson, Kenny Engel, Chester Baylor, John Godsey, Mike Hildebrand, Richard Bocock, and Joe Voltz.
