JCD graduate Kyle Horan earns Baseball Academic All-State Award
Gary Franklin - Sports Writer

Indiana All-State Baseball Academic Award winner Kyle Horan was notified through Eagle Varsity Coach David Bradshaw that he had qualified for and earned the prestige of being one of the top fifty 2006 baseball players academically state-wide.
Coach Bradshaw stated that Horan is only the third such recipient to earn the honor since he began coaching. Many schools never have a student athlete to reach this status.
Bradshaw notes that he is extremely proud of the hard work and effort Horan has shown throughout his school years, both on and off the sports field.
Horan is looking forward to beginning the next phase of his life as a college student at Butler University where he will earn a Pharmacy Degree in +/- six years.
Horan also won the 2005/2006 Boys' Basketball 'Tiny Hunt' Award, sponsored by Ripley Publishing Company.
