At the Sunman Town Council meeting
Peggy Lusby stated she has contacted an attorney and will be
filing a lawsuit against the owners of the Sunman Mobile Home
Court as well as the owner of the Westvue Mobile Home Park for
maintaining a nuisance. She resides on Western Avenue. Lusby
asked the council for a statement supporting the fact that she
has complained about the parks numerous times.
Council noted they will not provide a statement, but will make
the public minutes available to her.
The Sunman Town Council has been notified that the Trees Mobile
Home Park will be selling off the home at 318 Meridian. Ruth
Riehle wanted to make sure that the council is aware that if
the existing home is destroyed at 318 Meridian, only the same
size home could be built back. The council stated they were
aware of this.
An update on the Easter Avenue Project from Engineers, Hannum,
Wagle and Cline, shows the surveying is complete. The town was
given a first draft of the proposed project.
John Retzner is requesting the vacation of an unimproved alleyway
that is located on recently purchased property on West Washington.
Sunman Town Attorney Jack Kellerman will research the description
and have an opinion at the December meeting.
Dave Bruns reported that all police cars are operable and the
two new reserves have graduated from pre-basic.
All three town council members were present: Wayne Jenner, John
Campbell and Mike Wolffe. Also present to advise the council
were Attorney Jack Kellerman and Clerk-Treasurer Kris Schneider.
The next regular meeting of the Sunman Town Council will be
December 21 at 6:30 p.m. at the Sunman Town Hall.
