Milan Indian Swim Team season wraps up with annual awards banquet

Coach Doug Mosier opened the annual swimming banquet and awards program with a welcome to swimmers, their parents and guests, on Tuesday, February 26.
The '08 Co-ed Milan Swim team included Chelsea Lee, Maria Thompson, Alex Poole, Kaleigh Gardner, Danielle Schaefer, Emily Jones, Shelby Zornes, Elizabeth Smith, Jasmine Vetma-Hollins, Tyler Mills, Heath Weston, TJ Shannon, Justin Day and Nick Dixon.
Coach Mosier complimented and thanked the team members and their families for their hard work and effort to make his first year as Milan swim coach a positive one.
The IHSAA Girls Swimming Sectional was held at Columbus North High School on Jan. 31 - Feb. 2. Twelve teams competed in the venue.

The foursome set relay records at Milan in the 200 Medley Relay - 2:06.28 and the 400 Medley Relay - 4:13.49.
