Police were called by management at Brownings Campground, near Versailles, on Tuesday, May 6, around 1 p.m. after items possibly used to make methamphetamine were found in one of the rented rooms at the facility.

According to Trooper Jeremy Franklin, who responded to the call, upon arrival they found Amanda Calvert of Holton, attempting to take some of these items out of the room. She was arrested and initially charged with Possession of Precursors and Attempted Manufacturing of Methamphamine.
Further investigation revealed Calvert was wanted out of two other counties, Decatur and Bartholomew for failure to appear on charges of Theft and Driving While Suspended.

Trooper Franklin, who is also a member of the Indiana State Police Clandestine Laboratory Team, helped process items found in the arrest and noted that chemicals and equipment were found that are used in the meth making process.
