Pictured above firefighters from both the Friendship and Versailles fire departments worked to save a pole barn type building at 7511 S. SR 129 Monday morning. The end result, pictured below, the structure was deemed a total loss. The barn was owned by John McAdams who had been jump starting a lawn mower inside the barn when gas ignited, causing the blaze. Friendship Fire Chief Matt Jeffries said the barn was fully engulfed when they arrived. Rescue 69 also responded to the scene. There were no injuries.
