came down during a storm on Tuesday afternoon, June 3 at
the Cliff Hill Cemetery, Versailles. A bench was broken
and the damage (if any) to the tombstones wasn't determined
at press time.

Bottom photo was taken on Cave Hill Road just outside of
Friendship after the storm left several trees down. The
Holton Fire Department also helped clear trees on 950 W.
and the county highway department checked all the roads
for trees and debris. Trees were also down in the Holton
Methodist Cemetery. A tornado warning was issued for Ripley
County on Tuesday with a watch in effect until Wednesday
morning.
