and running
Gary Franklin, Sports
Writer
The long awaited beginning of another school year and
the sports programs are very quickly shifting into high
gear. Jac-Cen-Del, Milan and South Ripley athletic departments
have readied their coaching staff for fall sports and
they (the coaches) in turn have turned the heat up on
their respective athletes to perform.
The first of fall sports to get underway with their seasons
have been the girls golf teams who have already had many
matches. Milan football has held its annual black n' gold
premier and pre-season scrimmage, and just last night,
Tuesday, August 19, many other sports venues opened their
seasons.
