Ripley County Historical Society Museum
The Ripley County Historical Society Museum will be open on Sunday afternoons 2-4 p.m. from June 1 through August 24 and on Pumpkin Show day.

St. Peter’s UCC coffee social

St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, Corner of W. County Road 700 North and Finks Road, will hold their monthly coffee social, Thursday, August 21 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. A full menu will be served. All are welcome. Free will offering.

Rummage sale in Delaware
The Delaware United Methodist Church will hold a rummage sale on Thursday and Friday, August 21-22, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, August 23, from 9 a.m. until noon, at the Delaware Township Building.

Osgood Summer Fest
The 1st annual Summer Fest will be held Saturday, Aug. 23, at the Osgood Legion Park beginning at 5 p.m. There will be food, music, raffles, pull tabs, door prizes, and a beer garden. Hotwire performs at 9 p.m. Proceeds go to the building fund.

Homemade Ice Cream Social, Dewberry
St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Dewberry will host a Homemade Ice Cream Social Sunday, Aug. 24 beginning at 4 p.m. Freewill offering.

Annual Bultman reunion
The 90th annual Bultman reunion will be held Sunday, Aug. 24, in Napoleon at the St. John’s Lutheran Church Bethany Room beginning at noon. Bring food to share, drinks, table service, and items for the white elephant sale. All descendants of Albert, Henry and John Bultman are invited to attend. A handicap entrance is located on the north side of the church.

Garden Party in Napoleon
There will be a Garden Party on Sunday, Aug. 24, from 6-8 p.m. (rain or shine) at the home of Pat Hicks located at 3496 Wilson Street in Napoleon. There will be food and live music. Tickets may be purchased at the party or in advance from Pat. Event proceeds benefit the Napoleon Community and Recreation Corp.

Milan Legion bluegrass show
The Milan American Legion will host a Bluegrass show on Saturday, Aug. 30. Music starts at noon at Milan Legion Park on State Road 350. Tickets are available at The Milan Legion, Milan Reservation and Benny’s in Batesville. For more information, call 812-584-7384.

St. Anthony’s Labor Day festival
The 97th annual St. Anthony’s Labor Day festival will take place on Monday, Sept. 1, from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the church located at 4773 Church Rd. in Morris. There is no admission charge. For more information call 812-934-6218.

Ripley County Crop Walk for Hunger
The Ripley County Annual 10K (6 mile) Crop Walk Ending Hunger one step at a time will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 1, at 1:30 p.m. in Milan. Registration time is 12:30 p.m. at Milan First Baptist Church. The walk will start at Milan First Baptist Church and finish at Milan United Methodist Church. Ripley County Amateur Radio Club
The Ripley County Amateur Radio Club meets on the fourth Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at the American Red Cross office located at 629 South Buckeye Street in Osgood. For more information, call Delbert Felix at 812-756-2470.

Back Door Friends in Faith distribution
Back Door Friends in Faith is an outreach program of Tyson United Methodist Church. On the third Saturday of each month, residents from the South Ripley and Jac-Cen-Del school districts are invited to come and receive needed household items that cannot be obtained through the food stamp program. First time participants must bring a photo ID and proof of address. All items are free. Anyone wishing to donate items for distribution can drop off donations at the Annex, 107 N. Adams St. in Versailles, or on the parsonage front porch located at 322 Tyson St. in Versailles. For more information, call 812-689-6976.

Ripley County Food Pantry
The Ripley County Food Pantry located at the Ripley Co. Fairground, Bldg. 16C, in Osgood, will be open on the third Monday of each month from 9-12 a.m. and 5:30-7 p.m. The mobile pantry will be open on the first Friday of each month from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., also at the fairgrounds in Osgood. Dinner club for widows
A dinner club for widows of any age will be held on the third Thursday of the month at 5 p.m. at the Crossroads Restaurant in Versailles. Everyone is welcome. For information call 689-6698.

Narcotics Anonymous meetings will be held in Milan on Fridays at 7 p.m. Located at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, 7124 N. SR 101 in Milan.

Book Club at the Osgood Public Library
The Book Club meets on the first Thursday of every month at the Osgood Public Library at 6 p.m. Please call the library at 689-4011 for information on the book to be discussed at the next meeting and to reserve a copy. Newcomers are always welcome, even if you have not read the book.

La Leche League (breast-feeding support)
