Jarrod Holbrook from Indiana Landmarks will present “Stories Buildings Tell” on the Milan Branch Library on February 22 at 6 p.m. Learn how details in buildings can reveal the past and tell stories of the people who occupied them. Delaware Fire Dept. Fish Fry

Delaware Fire Department will have their Fish Fry on Friday, February 23 from 5-8 p.m. Adults are $10 and children under 12 are $5. Carryouts available.

Leadership will meet at 6 p.m. and teams will meet at 7 p.m. on February 28 at Batesville Memorial Library. Community Cancer Support Group will meet March 1 at 5:30 p.m. at Margaret Mary Cancer Center.

Solid Rock Rummage & Bake Sale
A huge rummage and bake sale will be held at Solid Rock Bible Fellowship Church on Saturday, March 3 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the fellowship hall (corner of Harrison and Monroe Streets in Napoleon). Bag sale from 12-2 p.m. For more info call 812-852-2172.

The March Workshop at Sunman Park AB Campbell building will be held on March 8 at 6:30 p.m. The Southeast Beekeepers Assn. will present The Cost of Beekeeping. Workshops are free to the public.

Batesville Library used book sale
The Friends of the Batesville Memorial Public Library is having a used book and media sale March 8-10. Items will be sold from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day at the library annex building located at 10 W. Boehringer Street. Prices are $1 for hardbacks, CDs and DVDs, 50 cents for paperbacks, and children’s books are 25 cents. The $2 bag special sale starts on Saturday, March 10 at 3 p.m.

Women’s Self-Defense Class at YMCA
A women’s self-defense class will be held at the Southeastern Indiana YMCA on Saturday, March 10 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Learn the basic skills necessary to protect yourself by fighting back the S.A.F.E. way. Please RSVP by calling the YMCA. Free to the community. The YMCA is located at 30 State Road 129 South in Batesville.

Golden Gate Community Choir practice
The Golden Gate Community Choir will be practicing at the Osgood United Methodist Church every Sunday at 2 p.m. beginning January 21. The Easter Cantata will be Palm Sunday, March 25, at 7 p.m. at the Damm Theatre in Osgood.

Circle of Love grief recovery meetings

Ripley County Food Pantry will be open the third Monday of the month from 9 a.m. to noon and 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Support group in Batesville
A family support group for individuals with addictions or substance abuse issues will be offered on the third Wednesday of the month at Better Options in Batesville (corner of SR 46 and Tekulve Rd.) from 6 – 7:30 p.m. There is no charge.

Historical Society archive hours

Bridge of Hope food pantry
Feed My Sheep Food Pantry at the Bridge of Hope in Milan serves the community on the second Monday of every month Doors are open from 6 – 8 p.m. A valid ID is required. For more information call 812-654-2350.

Christian support group meeting

“Celebrate Recovery” a new Christian-based support group for those with addictions or life issues is held every Tuesday evening at the Bridge of Hope on SR 129/US 50 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m. for fellowship.

Milan Food Pantry
The Milan Food Pantry will be open every Tuesday morning from 9 – 10:30 a.m. and Tuesday evening from 5 – 6 p.m.

Back Door Friends of Faith distribution
A monthly non-food distribution for those in need will be held on the third Saturday each month at Tyson United Methodist Annex located at 107 N. Adams St. in Versailles. From 9:30-10:30 a.m. Serves anyone in the South Ripley and JCD school districts. Please bring a picture I.D. for identification.
