Job workshop for veterans
Veterans Tools for Success, a five-day, intensive, job-search workshop, will take place July 25 –29 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Lawrenceburg WorkOne Center located on Walnut Street. Covered topics include transition, assessment, resumes, job search strategies, and networking. Lunch will be provided.
Free concert at Bethany Baptist

Tree dedication at sports complex
On Sunday, July 31, at 2 p.m., Versailles Lions will dedicate trees at the Tyson Memorial Sports Complex to memorialize Wilma Hughes and James Lotshaw. Each past deceased club member was a distinguished Lion who served with honor and devotion. Family and friends are invited to attend.

Support group in Batesville
A family support group will be offered for individuals with addictions or substance abuse issues on the third Wednesday of the month at the Better Options office in Batesville (corner of SR 46 and Tekulve Rd.) from 6 – 7:30 p.m. There is no charge.

LifeTime Resources has opened a Senior Nutrition Activity Center at Dillsboro Village Apartments in Dillsboro. Individuals who are 60 or over, and their spouse regardless of age, can enjoy activities and for a donation receive a hot meal Monday through Friday. Tyson Senior Nutrition Activity Center located at the Tyson School Apartments, 100 South High Street in Versailles, will have meals, activities and fellowship for anyone 60 years of age and over Monday through Friday.
