There will be a fish fry on March 27 at St. John’s church in Osgood from 4:30-7 p.m. There is a cost for the dinner. The event is sponsored by the Knights of Columbus Council #8487 and benefits various K of C charities.

Cover Crop Field Day
There will be a cover crop field day on Tuesday, March 31, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Huffmeyer Farm located at 4937 W. Co. Road 650N in Osgood. Lunch will be provided by IN Soybean Alliance and IN Corn Marketing Council. The event is sponsored by Ripley County SWCD, Hogan Creek Watershed, HHH RC&D and Purdue Extension. Margaret Mary Health to host blood drive
Margaret Mary Health in conjunction with Hoxworth Blood Center will host a blood drive on Thursday, April 2 from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. in donor buses outside the hospital. All donors must be at least 17 years old and weigh a minimum of 110 pounds. A photo ID is required the day of donation. Donors are encourage to eat a good meal and drink plenty of water or juice before donating.
